Undertaking the future! is the common motto of the futureTEX consortium, which already includes more than 90 companies. This means: driving innovation both creatively and purposefully, developing visions but no fictions, handling tasks in an businesslike way. The goal of the work is not just to develop innovative, preferably disruptive products. Especially in the start-up phase of the project, the focus was also on organizational forms, processes and fundamental technological solutions. An important goal is the establishment and expansion of a competence pool that is jointly available to TechTex and textile machine manufacturers. It guarantees that all developments are supported by experts, which is also an essential feature of futureTEX.
