INVENT is currently involved in several important climate and weather missions.
The TU Braunschweig is currently collecting important atmospheric data in the Alps with its “D-ILAB” research aircraft as part of a large-scale meteorological measurement campaign. The Cessna F406 is equipped with a nose boom manufactured by INVENT, which is fitted with a special measuring system that records a wide range of wind parameters.
For the geostationary weather satellite MTG-S1, which will revolutionize Europe’s weather forecasts, we have developed and manufactured equally precise fibre composite components.
It is a happy coincidence that both missions are being launched at almost the same time. The mission is urgent: we need to understand our climate better in order to develop effective climate protection measures.
INVENT components are also part of flagship projects like the DLRs HALO aircraft and the SUNRISE solar observatory, showcasing the versatility of our technology.
We’re proud to be part of this effort – and committed to contributing to climate protection.
